장세희는 움직임, 신체적 지각, 자연과 기후, 기술, 그리고 인간의 내면세계가 교차하는 지점을 탐구하는 미디어 아티스트이다.

과거 무용 경험에서 체득한 움직임에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로, 이를 영상, 하드웨어 기반 미디어, 설치 미술을 관통하는 작업의 핵심 언어로 다룬다.

아트 필름, 다원 예술 퍼포먼스, 브랜드 협업 등 폭넓은 형식을 아우르며 장르와 매체의 경계를 유연하게 넘나드는 작업 세계를 구축하고 있다.

기존의 정형화된 전시 공간을 넘어 다학제적인 접근을 시도하며, 기술과 감각이 결합된 집단적 플랫폼으로서의 예술적 실천에 집중한다.

다양한 미디어 환경 속에서 인간의 감각이 어떻게 반응하고 변주되는지에 주목하고, 이를 시각적 서사와 공간적 경험으로 치환하는 실험을 지속하고 있다.

현재는 장르 간의 융복합을 통해 감각적 공존의 가능성을 제시하며 국내외에서 활발한 협업과 작품 활동을 이어가고 있다.

Seahee Chang is a media artist who investigates the intersection of movement, bodily perception, nature, climate, technology, and the human inner world.

Drawing from an embodied understanding of movement fostered through her background in dance, she employs this as a central expressive language that permeates her work in video, hardware-based media, and installation.

Her practice spans a wide range of formats, including art films, interdisciplinary performances, and brand collaborations, characterized by a fluid approach that traverses the boundaries of genre and media.

Beyond conventional exhibition spaces, she pursues multidisciplinary approaches that focus on artistic practice as a collective platform where technology and sensation converge.

Her work examines how human senses respond and transform within diverse media environments, translating these observations into visual narratives and spatial experiences.

Currently, she continues to propose possibilities for sensory coexistence through cross-genre convergence, engaging in active collaborations and projects both domestically and internationally.
